Torwegge: Compound and lightweight panel machines
![]()
Torwegge Holzbearbeitungsmaschinen designed a new machine - Optimat PWR 100 for the compound and lightweight panel production.
For the growing market of the production of compound and lightweight panels Torwegge offers a modular system with a comprehensive range of machines for the panel production for all classes. All machines of the series Profiline and Powerline are very flexible and can be equipped with different glue systems such as, for example, hot-melt glue, PVAc glue or UREA. The modular system also includes solutions for pressing the individual components for all fields of application and company sizes. The Torwegge production range goes from calenders for simple applications, belt presses for the demanding material usage up to multi-storey presses.
The new Optimat PWR 100 has been designed on the basis of the
PWR 500 from the Torwegge Profiline series, which has already been sold several times. The PWR 100 allows the economic access to the production of the innovative and future-orientated compound and lightweight panels for customers from the handicraft business as well as for the flexible production of small batch sizes for industrial customers.
The Optimat PWR 100 consists of a driven infeed transport, a glue application unit, a positioning section, a pressing calender as well as a driven outfeed.
The PWR 100 series is designed in a modular way and can be ordered with reasonable options, such as motorized height adjustment, pre-heating, barrel-melting unit in different designs or an outfeed device of the glue application machine for easier cleaning of the application rollers. Further options are available on demand. Because of this modular system, the customers can assemble their machines individually according to their requirements in order to be successful on the growing market for the production of compound and lightweight panels. The extraordinary price-performance-ratio of the PWR 100 is another incentive for the customer to enter this field of production.
