Advanced pigmented Hydro-UV lacquers: Environmentally-compatible and simultaneously economical
UV-hardening Hydro lacquer systems have become increasingly important in the woodworking industry over recent years. This is due firstly to changed legal regulations, and secondly to the desire to lacquer surfaces in an environmentally-friendly way.
In this product segment, Votteler offers tried-and-tested coating systems for large-series applications. With the new pigmented Hydrolux system, surfaces can now be given a coloured coating effectively and with the minimum stress on the environment. This enables the latest colour trends to be followed without problem and in compliance with prevailing laws. Hydrolux lacquers perfectly combine modern drying technologies of coating system manufacturers with the exacting demands placed on the finished surface by end-customers.
A wide range of undersurfaces and/or resistance levels can be catered for by the use of the 1-K or 2-K process. Application is carried out on automatic coating systems with air atomisation, airless or air-mix. With the pigmented UV-hardening Hydrolux lacquers from Votteler, you can apply coatings economically and with the minimum stress on the environment.
Glittering prospects
High-gloss coatings continue to enjoy great popularity. They put the final touch to furniture, are used in many applications for vehicle, ship and aircraft interiors and are continually being put to new uses. In addition to the glossy, exclusive appearance, a high-gloss coating offers resilient surfaces with high resistance to chemical and mechanical stresses.
Votteler offers its customers high-gloss coatings which “shine out” in every respect. Various systems are available, depending on the anticipated stress and possible application processes. These include polyester, clear or coloured polyurethane, UV-hardening or clear Hydro coating systems. In very special cases, the Puriflow technology can also be used. These systems are sprayed, poured or applied using the RIM process (Reaction Injection Moulding), therefore offering the widest possible application spectrum.
