The restrained elegance and velvety feel of the modern noble matt surfaces from Rehau make them hard to resist. The hand wants to test, feel, experience what the eye is promised at first glance. Using special technology, extremely matt surfaces with gloss levels of less than 6 points can be achieved. They score not only with their unique look and feel, but most of all with their functional characteristics like anti-scratch and anti-dirt properties. Always keeping a uniform look in mind, Rehau presents edgeband materials as well as tambour doors & wall seal systems with noble matt surfaces.Effective decoration - Refined with pattern gloss
The tastes of those who like discretion and those with a penchant for the extravagant will surely come together with the edgeband materials, tambour doors and wall seal systems, all refined with a pattern gloss. Completely new looks can be achieved with the help of partial lacquer application and the use of different gloss levels. Floral patterns, geometric shapes, wooden structures - there are no limits to the imagination. A special highlight here is the surface decoration of tambour door carpets - its block appearance is elegantly given a more harmonious surface look, simultaneously opening up additional design possibilities in the process.Cool sensuality or warm shine
Cool aluminium, high-quality stainless steel, the classic design material of metallic chrome continues to be a source of great fascination to the design world. Rehau impressively pursues its series of metal-based highlights and sets the stage for various products with shining titanium surfaces at the ZOW 2010. In contrast to the cool metallic surfaces, Rehau is also presenting edgeband materials in warm metal shades like copper, champagne or dark gold.Laser welding – Edgeband processing at the highest level
Raukantex laser edge, an innovative edgeband material generation, not only makes possible elegant uniform looks, but also offers a variety of benefits in relation to processing and functionality. The new edgebands have a polymer functional layer on the reverse side, which is welded on during processing using laser technology.This means there is an adhesive-free connection between the edgeband and the board with a permanently sealed invisible joint. Optic deficiencies, which, until now, have come about through the use of adhesives and the resultant staining or discolouration, are completely eliminated. Furthermore, welding the edgeband and board increases both the heat and moisture resistance of the finished boards.Rehau AG + Co
