FRIZ Kaschiertechnik: Machines for surface lamination

Friz Kaschiertechnik develops and manufactures machines and plants for surface lamination. The product range comprises profile wrapping machines, membrane presses, surface laminating lines, glue spreaders, foil slitters and separating saws.

Modular machine concept for 1D and 2D high gloss lamination process

Shiny surfaces are very popular for furniture and prefabricated building units. The Weinsberg-based Friz GmbH, a company of the HOMAG group, has expanded their modular construction kit for laminating machines for this diversified application field so that today different adhesive application technologies, foil thicknesses and working widths can be combined. For the various requirements, Friz offers machine equipment in several performance classes. One example is the flat lamination machine line FKW 100 to apply high gloss sheet material onto MDF or chipboard substrates. The PUR adhesive is applied onto the substrates by a glue spreader roller. The high gloss sheet material is applied manually from a magazine tray in a stop and go process. The laminating calender ensures best surface quality when pressing the materials together. Friz offers also solutions to apply material on rolls, to apply adhesive by a slot nozzle system or for laminating top surface and both longitudinal sides in one pass.
