Ritter: At home in any kitchen

ritterwerk was founded in 1905 by Franz Ritter. 30 years later he built the first hand-operated bread-slicing machine and ritterwerk evolved into a specialist for electrical household slicing machines. Today ritter offers a wide range of table-top and built-in appliances, for all demands. The product range is presently being enlarged by an assortment of toasters.

When it comes to small electric appliances fro kitchens, ritter is the first choice. The medium-sized company, headed by Michael Schüller, develops, designs and produces exclusively in Gröbenzell near Munich. Therefore “Made in Germany” does not only signify the location but also the associated high-end quality as well as modern and functional design.

While most other remaining manufacturers do convert to mere sales- and marketing specialists in order to eliminate production costs, ritter is keeping straight to its way “Made in Germany”.

However, the present and rather difficult market situation does not allow the product by itself to determine a company’s success. To the same extent this is also decided by the Customer Relation Management. At ritter, the people - colleagues, customers and suppliers –are the central basis for vital partnerships.

In 2005, ritter celebrated its 100th anniversary and the same year it received the prestigious award “TOP 100”. This placed ritter among the top 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany.
