Grass: Fresh brand with tradition

Bad Salzuflen, February 2010 – a globally-successful group, a fresh brand with tradition and an extraordinary diversity of product innovations – this is how Grass will be presenting itself at the ZOW 2010. The specialists in the development and manufacture of functional movement systems are renowned for their trailblazing product developments, the highest quality as well as technical precision. And since the interzum trade fair last year, Grass – as a result of its new, unique corporate identity – developed into a brand with symbolic power and recognition. “The new corporate design makes the dynamic of the brand refreshingly tangible”, states Andreas Marosch, Marketing Director at Grass, commenting on the changes. But it is not only visible, it is also award-winning. The “Jahrbuch der Werbung” jury (Advertising Annual), included the Grass trade fair concept and the new corporate Website in its series of exemplary designs.
However, strengthening a brand takes far more than just a great marketing strategy. To this end, Grass is focussing on optimising customer satisfaction using detailed surveys, for example. The results flow directly into the development of new product concepts, as this is the only way to explain why Grass appears to always be one step ahead of the requirements of the market – with future-oriented movement-solutions, which unite intelligent functions and the highest level of operational comfort. The fully-electronically controlled Sensotronic guide system or the Dynapro sub-surface guide system are the best examples of this. And Tiomos, the new generation of hinges, will also be creating quite a bit of movement within the market in the very near future.
Tiomos – the hinge for the door of the future

is now opening a new chapter, which will inspire the furniture designs of tomorrow. Several decades of know-how and experience flowed into the development of Tiomos. Backed by many year of research, all the details and functions have been fundamentally redesigned and redeveloped. And what we have created is an extremely elegant movement system that today already fulfils all the technical-functional requirements of tomorrow. “With Tiomos, we want to make a clear statement and once again bring the functional movement of furniture doors back into the limelight.”
At the interzum in Cologne, the Austrian and German movement specialists created quite a furore with their spectacular Tiomos premiere. And the innovation was made available to the trade within the context of the Sicam. The enthusiasm for the new product was palpable at both trade fair events – and the feedback was unanimous: “Waiting until 2010 will be well worth it”. Now that the market launch is imminent, an interested trade audience will once again have the opportunity to experience the benefits of Tiomos “live”: at the ZOW in Bad Salzuflen, Grass will be specifically presenting the variability of the new hinge system based on the most diverse applications.
