Focus Küche & Bad 2010 - the annual buzz of the ordering frenzy

Autumn is and remains the season when the kitchen trade in Germany is busiest handling new orders. It is in autumn that all the market players will launch their latest products and when decisions for the 2010/2011 season will be made. Focus Küche & Bad, running between 18 and 23 September, along with a cluster of in-house exhibitions, is the year's only and key showcase for innovations and new information for anyone in the sector wanting to sell their wares in Germany and the Benelux; an important sales market for kitchens.

East Westphalia is the very heart of the kitchen and bathroom trade in Europe, and during the traditional September trade fair week virtually all of Germany's kitchen manufacturers flock to the region. Located at the very centre of this market, Focus Küche & Bad provides a central order platform for crucial sales and marketing activities between manufacturers and retail.

This makes Focus Küche & Bad a leading and highly popular venue for kitchens and bathrooms in Central Europe and elevates it way beyond regional boundaries. The event is made all the more attractive as all the industry's major players have their in-house exhibitions in that very region at the same time – be it in Bad Oeynhausen, Melle or Verl.

At a time when orders are few and far between, if you are not in on the action, you will be left empty-handed. Just as the German kitchen industry needs an international showcase with a broad reach for the "big players", the frenzy of orders placed in the autumn in the East Westphalian kitchen hub is key to the survival of those players who trade mainly in Germany and its close neighbours. Given the current trend for outsourcing to overseas markets such as Asia, this local market will gain in importance in the future.

Focus Küche & Bad is adjusting flexibly to these market trends and is at present upgrading the trade fair concept. This year we will welcome changes in some of the exhibition spaces at the Hiddenhausen Exhibition Centre. In September, the revamped Focus Küche & Bad will give supplier and manufacturing companies and associations providing services to the sector the one and only opportunity to make direct contact with a mainly German or Dutch audience and to market their product innovations and services for 2011.
