Franke and Systemceram confirm that they will be there too! Competence in kitchen sinks at Focus Küche & Bad 2010
This September, Focus Küche & Bad will once again be the focus of East Westphalia’s autumn trade fair season as the key time for the kitchen trade to place orders in Germany. As driving forces behind the kitchen industry, Franke GmbH and Systemceram GmbH & Co. KG will once again be represented at Focus Küche & Bad.
In an official press release, Franke confirmed that “On a national level, […] Focus Küche & Bad, which is designed as a pure B-to-B trade fair, is a key event for Franke when it comes to nurturing personal relationships with our most important partners – retailers and their associations. After all, over the last few years, more than 20,000 visitors have used the […] exhibition to find out about current trends in the kitchen industry and made their decisions for the coming season.”
Franke’s Managing Director, Oliver Zimmermann, has announced that the company is coming to Focus Küche & Bad “with a new concept which visitors can look forward to”. Of course, details have not yet been disclosed, but the presentation will be clear to see.
Another renowned name in the kitchen sink industry is Systemceram. Visitors to Focus Küche & Bad 2010 can also look forward to this brand’s attractive product innovations.
Of course, the event will feature other well-known suppliers such as ASK, Baumatic, Beko, Berbel, Grohe and Oranier, who are using Focus Küche & Bad 2010 as a trade platform, and also the trade associations Der Kreis, Küchen-Areal, Küchen Partner AG and KüchenTreff. In addition to the “big names”, a number of specialists with interesting product innovations will showcase at Focus Küche & Bad. Among the returning companies is Sprinz, while new exhibitors presenting in Hiddenhausen include Bora Lüftungstechnik and Syed Furniture Industries.
Focus Küche & Bad – a visitor magnet in the kitchen hub of Ostwestfalen-Lippe
The German kitchen furniture industry is world-class and its hub is in Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The region between the Teutoburg Forest and the Wiehen Hills / A30 motorway brings together small and mid-size suppliers as well as the industry’s global players. According to figures published in May by GfK (Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung, Society for Consumer Research), the total sales achieved by the German kitchen furniture industry in 2009 was €8.5 billion. More than 1 million of the approx. 1.3 million built-in kitchens manufactured in Germany in 2009 came from Ostwestfalen-Lippe. This concentrated kitchen competence attracts around 20 000 visitors to the region each year, just on time to place last-minute orders with the kitchen trade.
Virtually all of Germany's kitchen manufacturers are represented at the event week in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, which has certainly become something of a tradition. Renowned names in the industry will open up their in-house exhibitions at the same time as Focus Küche & Bad – from Bad Oeynhausen and Melle to Verl. Right at the heart of East Westphalia’s autumn trade fair season, Focus Küche & Bad is also providing a well-attended, attractive retailer forum, where you can be sure to once again find both the industry’s national and international decision-makers.
New opening times and events
Focus Küche & Bad is launching a new concept in 2010. The event will run for one day less, this year between Saturday 18 and Thursday 23 September. To accommodate requests from our Dutch visitors in particular, the show will remain open until 8pm on Monday and Tuesday. It will run as usual between 9am and 6pm on all other days. All visitors can now register for free online at www.f-kb.de.
This year, the winners of "BMK-Innovationspreis" (BMK innovation prize) will be officially announced and honoured at Focus Küche & Bad on Sunday 19 September rather than in Cologne as in the past. For the fifth time, the Bundesverband Mittelständischer Küchenfachhandel (BMK - Federal German Association of the Mid-Sized Kitchen Trade) has asked the trade to rate innovative products in three categories: kitchen furniture, kitchen equipment and accessories. And after the BMK prize giving ceremony, all exhibitors, visitors and neighbours of Focus Küche & Bad are warmly invited to the FKB after-work party on Sunday evening. So it’s clear to see that, as always, there’s a lot going on at Focus Küche & Bad 2010. Exhibitors and visitors alike can look forward to an exciting and attractive trade fair between 18 and 23 September in Hiddenhausen.
