ZOW Double Act with Turkish Furniture Show - Top-line Furniture Event in Istanbul in January 2008

Turkish show organizer, ITF Fairs, has shifted the IMOB 2008 event date to bring it in line with ZOW in Istanbul. Except for the first day, the biggest furniture show in Turkey now takes place at the same time as ZOW on January 31-February 3. The venue for the event is the ultra-modern Istanbul Expo Center directly by Atatürk Airport – with ZOW occupying Halls 9-11 and IMOB in Halls 1-8.

ZOW organizer, Survey, welcomes the coupling of the two show dates, which offers a raft of synergies for both exhibitors and visitors. The key furniture manufacturers in the country are represented at IMOB, and so suppliers will find their target audience immediately adjacent, while Turkish furniture manufacturers will in turn be able to access the latest in supplier innovations. At a glance, exhibitors and visitors will find the complete range of products and services at the same time and in the same place. It could not be a better start for ZOW’s premiere outing in Istanbul.

Meanwhile, ZOW exhibition space in Istanbul is selling like hot cakes, with almost 80% of available space now booked. “We’re expecting around 200 exhibitors at ZOW in January. The market response has been extremely positive,” comments Suleyman Durdu, Survey’s Show Director in Istanbul. Also supporting ZOW are the national furniture associations headed up by the largest furniture manufacturers in Turkey. They welcome the unique workshop concept of the show, which has made a name for itself worldwide and promises to deliver a real plus in terms of communication and business.

Show stands designed for openness and transparency in established stand sizes with standardized display modules are inviting to visitors and enable even smaller businesses to have a fitting presence. Managed

forum spaces create open areas, enabling contact between exhibitors and visitors to take place in a relaxed atmosphere. Parking, entry to the show and catering are free of charge to trade visitors. As only the decision-makers in companies are invited, ZOW creates a basis for excellent business right from the start.

Exhibitors book an all-inclusive package, which includes all the essential exhibition goods and services: exhibition stand space and display units, carpeted floors and ceilings, lighting and electricity supply, parking lot supervision and security, website entry, PR work and advertising relating to the show. Show organizer, Survey, takes over the entire organization and makes it as easy as possible for exhibitors. Service par excellence.

With ZOW in Turkey, Survey has now created a sixth ZOW platform worldwide, thereby covering off another important region on the international furniture production map. Exhibitors and trade visitors are expecting a furniture event of the first order in January 2008, making the show an essential date on the calendar for manufacturers and suppliers – and a gateway to the furniture markets of the Middle East, Black Sea and Caspian Sea regions.
